Care
To keep your crochet bucket hat looking its best, treat it gently and avoid high heat.
- Hand wash recommended in cool or lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
- Gently press and swish the hat in the water. Do not wring, twist, or aggressively scrub.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- Press out excess water with a clean towel, then reshape while damp.
- Lay flat to air dry. Avoid hanging while wet, as the weight of the water can stretch the crochet.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not tumble dry. High heat may shrink or distort 100% cotton yarn.
- Store flat or loosely folded to help maintain the shape.
Because cotton is a natural fiber, some slight softening or relaxation of the stitches over time is normal. Reshaping the hat while damp will help restore its original form.
