A little magical, a little practical. The Potion Bottle Stash Pouch is a 100% cotton crochet pouch designed to look like a tiny potion bottle while giving you a convenient place to keep small essentials close by.
The crocheted “cork” stopper slides up along the hanging cord to open the pouch, then slides back down to close it again. The hanging cord also functions as a drawstring for added security. Clip it to a bag, belt loop, festival pack, or costume and use it to stash small items like lip balm, trinkets, cash, earplugs, crystals, or other little necessities.
Each pouch is crocheted with a colorful potion-inspired pattern, giving it a whimsical fantasy look.

Each Potion Bottle Stash Pouch is made to order, with a few different options depending on how much customization and detail you want:
- Wildcard — Made with available synthetic, blended, reclaimed, or leftover yarn. Use the color/vibe field to give me a general direction, and I’ll create a one-of-a-kind potion bottle from there. Exact colors and yarn combinations will be part of the surprise.
- Classic — Made in your requested bottle, cord, and cork colors using a more consistent yarn selection for a clean, customized version of the original Potion Bottle Stash Pouch.
- Secret Stash — Includes a discreet hidden pocket worked into the design as a decorative motif, such as an eye, sun or moon, mushroom, or other small accent. If you have a specific motif in mind, include it in your order notes. Otherwise, I’ll choose something that fits your requested colors and overall vibe.
The Secret Stash is intended for small, lightweight personal items only.

Because Potion Bottle Stash Pouches may be made with different yarn types depending on the option selected, care can vary slightly by fiber.

Cotton yarn
Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Cotton may soften or relax slightly over time; reshaping while damp will help restore the pouch’s form.
Synthetic or blended yarns
Hand wash in cool water and avoid heat, which can distort or damage some synthetic fibers.
Superwash merino wool
Gentle machine washing may be possible depending on the specific yarn used, but hand washing in cool water and laying flat to dry is recommended to best preserve the pouch’s shape and details.
Non-superwash wool or other specialty natural fibers
Hand wash only in cool water with a wool-safe detergent. Avoid agitation, hot water, and sudden temperature changes, which may cause felting or shrinkage.
If your pouch includes a Secret Stash motif, hidden pocket, or other dimensional crochet details, handle those areas gently and reshape them carefully after washing.
For best results, store the pouch empty and avoid overfilling it with heavy, sharp, or rough items that could stretch the crochet or distort the shape.
