Spot clean when possible using a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.
For a deeper clean:
- Hand wash gently in cool water.
- Do not wring, twist, or aggressively scrub.
- Gently press out excess water with a towel.
- Reshape the holster and ties while damp.
- Lay flat to air dry.
- Do not bleach.
- Avoid high heat.
- Remove the fan before washing.
Cotton: Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Reshape while damp.
Synthetic or blended fibers: Hand wash in cool water and avoid high heat.
Superwash merino: Gentle machine washing may be possible depending on the yarn, but hand washing and laying flat to dry is recommended.
Non-superwash wool or specialty natural fibers: Hand wash only in cool water with wool-safe detergent. Avoid agitation, hot water, and sudden temperature changes.
Avoid overstretching the ties or forcing an oversized fan into the holster, as this can distort the crochet over time.
