The Convertible Cooz-et takes the original Cooz-et idea and makes it even more useful. It’s designed to switch between a mini bag, standard can coozie, and tall-can coozie, so one piece can adapt to whatever you’re carrying.
Like the original Cooz-et, it features a built-in handle that makes it easy to carry or clip to a belt, bag, or carabiner. The crochet construction helps insulate cold drinks and absorb condensation, while the flexible shape folds down small when you’re not using it.
Use it as a drink holder, convert it into a compact bag for small essentials, or switch between standard and tall cans without needing a separate accessory. Each one is made to order and can be customized with different colors, yarns, patterns, and design details.
Why I Made It
I wanted something that could do more than just hold a drink. Festival gear takes up space fast, so I liked the idea of having one accessory that could work as a coozie when I needed it and turn into a small bag when I didn’t.
The Convertible Cooz-et gives me a place to keep a cold drink close, helps absorb condensation, clips easily to my gear, and can still be used to carry small essentials once the drink is gone.

Wildcard — Made with available synthetic, blended, reclaimed, or leftover yarn. Give me a general color or vibe direction and I’ll build the final combination from there.
Classic — Made with 100% cotton yarn in your requested color or color combination for a breathable, versatile version.
Elevated — Features more intricate patterning, specialty stitches, added detailing, and/or premium natural fibers such as merino wool.
Secret Stash — Includes a discreet hidden pocket incorporated into the design as a decorative accent. If you have a specific motif in mind, include it in your design notes. Otherwise, I’ll choose something that works with your colors and overall vibe.

Convertible Cooz-et Care Guide
Because Convertible Cooz-ets may be made with different yarn types, care can vary slightly by fiber.

Spot clean when possible with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.

100% Cotton
Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Cotton may soften or relax slightly with use and washing; reshaping while damp will help restore the original form.
Synthetic or Blended Fibers
Hand wash in cool water and avoid heat, which can distort or damage some synthetic fibers.
Superwash Merino Wool
Gentle machine washing may be possible depending on the specific yarn used, but hand washing in cool water and laying flat to dry is recommended to best preserve the shape and construction.
Non-Superwash Wool and Specialty Natural Fibers
Hand wash only in cool water with a wool-safe detergent. Avoid agitation, hot water, and sudden temperature changes, which may cause felting or shrinkage.
If your Convertible Cooz-et includes a Secret Stash pocket, specialty motif, or dimensional detailing, handle those areas gently and reshape them carefully after washing.
Avoid overloading the mini-bag configuration with heavy or sharp items that could stretch the crochet or distort the convertible structure.
